About Easley

Easley is a city in Pickens County, South Carolina located a few miles west of Greenville. Easley is known for its proximity to the Upper South Carolina State Fair, held at the Greenville-Pickens Speedway about two miles east of Easley, which features games, rides, food, a petting zoo, magic shows, and musical acts such as Grand Funk Railroad and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The Nalley Brown Nature Park Initiative is perfect for nature lovers, and helps to protect the natural flora and fauna of the area. Residents and tourists alike will enjoy hiking or biking the scenic “Doodle Trail,” so named because the train that used to run on the tracks over the trail had nowhere to turn around and therefore had to “doodle back” to its starting point.
