After feedback from our customers, we created a new variation of our popular Pennington floor plan: the Pennington C (2509). Stepping through the front door, you'll find yourself in a foyer (complete with coat closet) that opens up into the family room ahead and splits off into the secondary bedrooms and the bonus room on either side. A full bathroom serves both secondary bedrooms as well as any visitors.

Walk forward into the family room, and you'll discover the first significant difference from our original Pennington: more space. The family room stretches out in front of you for over 23ft, with a centerpiece fireplace directly in view. The kitchen and dining room both connect to the family room, but remain distinct through the smart use of columns—allowing you to maintain the feeling of openess without succumbing to the one-room-syndrome of some open floor plans.

The master bedroom has a small hallway off the family room, which means the door into the bedroom isn't visible from the large, open space of this plan. Inside the master bathroom you'll find a separate garden tub and walk-in shower, plus a commode room, and walk-in closet. The two bedrooms in the front of the home have their own hallway, separating them from the master suite and allowing for more privacy.

We went all out on the back of the home: a patio that runs the full width of the home, with a large screened porch directly in the middle. If you've been wanting to expand your outdoor living, this plan can happily accommodate you. A bonus room over the garage rounds out the plan—creating a flexible space that can be used for a variety of different purposes.
